This is a view of Mt Rainier from above a small tarn that feeds into Tipsoo Lake East of the mountain.
This area was covered in wildflowers in full bloom - about 6 weeks earlier than usual. Smoke from wildfires in Washington state and British Columbia is adding to the haze and mist around the mountain.
