I took this image on Black and White 35mm film on my old Pentax K1000 back in 1980. I also developed the film in my own darkroom and made a couple of 8 x 10 prints. This image is a fairly high resolution scan from one of those prints and it doesn't look too bad considering the age.
This image was a Top Finisher in the April 2012 Contest "Black and White Contest", and 4th equal in the March 2014 "Contest - Best of Europe".
Born and raised in New Zealand, I have loved to take photographs ever since I was given a plastic 35mm camera on my 13th birthday. I take photos of whatever looks interesting or spectacular, but what I enjoy most is being outdoors and capturing the beauty of nature.
